Tamino can follow up at the expense of Coup d'Etat, Resplendent Nova and Wodhill Schnaps, with Shake On It worth a mention. Tamino returned to form in a lady riders' race at Salisbury ten-days ago, and that form has already been franked by the third horse home, The History Man, at Beverley. He was not stopping at the finish at Salisbury, and will have no trouble staying today's trip which he has tried once before, when third at Lingfield the time before last. Coup d'Etat gained his only victory two years ago when trained by John Dunlop, but ran most encouragingly in first-time blinkers when second at Haydock nine-days ago. Resplendent Nova always seems to find one too good lately and has topweight to contend with, while Wodhill Schnaps shaped as though he really prefers a mile when just getting up over today's trip at Wolverhampton. There are plenty in with a shout, and only a small vote goes to Tamino.
