        Verdict

        Nomoreblondes,Stoneacre Gareth and Silly Gilly are three against the field in a competitive opener and the narrow vote is given to Nomoreblondes. The selection was a fair second last time out behind Ishetoo. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and from a good draw he looks a value bet. Stoneacre Gareth rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Northern Dare. However he is creeping up the weights for not winning and he looks opposable on that basis. Silly Gilly is another with place claims on his latest second behind Foxy Music but he is becoming hard to win with. La Vecchia Scuola is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but all his best form of late has come in claimers. Of the remainder By The Edge is from a shrewd in-form yard and should be watched in the market but he looks weighted up to his best and with this in mind for the winner we return to Nomoreblondes.
