        Verdict

        Lady Layla's only win last year came in soft ground over 7f and despite tumbling down the weights, Smokey Oakey hasn't won on the Flat since 2008. Dream Walker remains 9lb higher than when scoring over a shorter trip here last term and Jonnie Skull has yet to win over further than 7f. A multiple winner at Southwell, Caledonia Prince can race off a much lower mark on Turf but hasn't looked like scoring on this surface in 10 previous attempts. ZAHEEB had been thereabouts on the all-weather over the winter before finishing second over 7f here last time. He's won over today's trip before and Dave Morris' charge gets a speculative vote to return to winning ways.
