Verdict
Seeking The Buck can complete a follow-up at the expense of Yarqus, Gyroscope and Le Soleil. Seeking The Buck has been a model of consistency this summer, and gained due reward by justifying favouritism at Haydock under Kerrin McEvoy 11-days ago. With the fast ground once again in his favour, Michael Magnusson's three-year-old should make a bold bid to defy a rise in grade, with the slight drop back in trip not a problem. Yarqus was just denied at Sandown last time, and despite topweight, last year's Esher Cup winner can prove troublesome along with Gyroscope who seems to perform better on faster ground. Le Soleil has landed a couple of touches already this season, but left the money in the bookies' satchels at York last time. He got bogged down in the heavy ground then though, and should at least be in the shake-up off his present weight. Seeking The Buck did us a favour last time though and can do so again.
