      Verdict

Tom Queally was on board RAY OF JOY when she held off Oh So Spicy over course and distance on easy ground in April of last year. John Jenkins' mare re-opposes on 7lb better terms today and hinted at a revival at Nottingham last month. She has her going again and could spring a surprise. The three-year-olds Azenzar and Meddling both have claims, though the latter was put in her place by Gift Of Silence in a maiden handicap here last month. Clock Opera is consistent but Fever Few was very disappointing at Newcastle 12 days ago and Verus Delicia is treading water off her current mark.
