Jennie Jerome looks good enough to break his maiden tag in this handicap with both Merrion Tiger and Writingonthewall worth noting. The selection is put in off a mark of 70 on his handicap debut after showing some promise in maidens this season. He caught the eye when third to Liberation Spirit at Newmarket last month and looks the type to do well in this grade. Merrion Tiger is visored for the first time after showing a little promise in similar events of late and connections will be hopefull of an improved effort with the added head gear so any market moves should be noted. Writingonthewall is another to don the head gear after under achieving of late. He was good enough to win a maiden at Thirsk last season but has not shown the same level of form since so is to be treated with some caution. So for the winner we return to Jennie Jerome.
