        Verdict

        Recent runs do not highlight the chance of any contender and SIMBA SAMBA is only a hopeful choice in a tricky contest. He does need to be forgiven a poor run last time but had previously gone well here on his only Turf outing, albeit on heavy ground. The drop to the minimum trip is also a concern but he receives plenty of weight from all bar one of his rivals and hopefully Hollie Doyle can employ waiting tactics to the letter. Awarded is a possible improver off the same mark as the selection whilst Tone The Barone is a player if finding the form of his success on the first start of the current campaign. Invincible Larne is also of interest in a first-time visor.
