In depth

Verdict

EDGAR ALLAN POE is on a roll and this smooth traveller is three from his four despite the handicapper inevitably upping his rating. However, Rebecca Bastiman appears to have found another decent opportunity for her gelding and Phil Dennis will no doubt look to again employ proven hold-up tactics. The Night King is in fair form but not sure to handle quick ground and the unexposed Earth And Sky could prove a bigger threat on handicap bow with Doyle booked, although it's worth noting all three starts have been with soft in the going description. Rock The Cradle has gone well on both starts this term and is of interest now stepping up to a mile and a quarter.
