Verdict

An interesting maiden but AL NAMIR sets the standard on his runner-up effort behind King's Command at Newmarket and gets the nod against promising opposition. John Gosden has introduced very useful juveniles at this venue so a keen market eye should be kept on his No Nay Never colt, Verboten. Imperial Empire was probably expected to do better when sent off favourite on his Doncaster debut but remains of interest, whilst Kassab showed promise on his first outing here this month. Spreadsheet, a close second on an artificial surface on debut, should progress from that effort and go well on this first experience of Turf.
