JAN'S JOY displayed significant improvement when coming home unchallenged over course and distance recently and is taken to follow up off an 8lb higher mark, 5lb of which is offset by the claim of Milly Naseb. The filly hadn't proved the most reliable of customers previously but hopefully the return to the Norfolk seaside air will produce a similar performance. Another Situation also obliged last time at Thirsk but may be less suited than the selection to the minimum trip, although she still commands respect in an ordinary affair. Drop Kick Murphi is not ruled out for his local yard while a repeat of the lightly-raced Devil Or Angel's recent Thirsk runner-up effort would bring Bill Turner's filly into the equation too.
