El Alamein has a typical profile of a Sir Mark Prescott three-year-old having been handicapped on three runs over an inadequate trip and is the obvious choice to open his account now that he tackles a handicap for the first time over a trip that should bring about improvement, getting the vote ahead of Wise Choice and Shaika. The last mentioned has at least won a race, albeit a seller at Leicester, and she is probably best watched stepped up into this grade. Cragganmore Creek has not progressed from his debut maiden success and is hard to recommend, while Coffin Dodger is more exposed than most of these. James Given's yard is beginning to come into form now so Loch Awe has to be respected, while Rada has given little cause for optimism so far but may do better now that he tackles a longer trip. Wise Choice looks to be going the right way and is another to consider but preference is for El Alamein, who should improve considerably for the longer trip.
