Pinchbeck is a tentative choice in a wide-open sprint handicap, with topweights Dusty Dazzler and Willhewiz just two others to consider. This is a hard one to call, but Pinchbeck has a good draw in stall 11 and should now be spot on after two runs this season. The latest of those came at Doncaster 11 days ago when the Michael Jarvis inmate was a close fourth to Kingsdown. That form may be good enough here and he gets the vote. Dusty Dazzler is lightning fast and holds the five-furlong track record at Thirsk. She is no slouch over this trip either and will appreciate today's company more than the Listed opposition that she encountered at Bath last time. Amir Quinn takes five-pounds off her back and she makes slightly more appeal than Willhewiz who goes well on the track, having scored here last September. Mandarin Spirit went off the boil last backend, while Prince Nector is a bit in and out, so based on recent form, Pinchbeck is the choice.
