      Verdict

      Jonnie Skull is a prolific winner who loves this track though he's rarely seen beyond a mile and it was a 7f event that he won here last week. Ski Lift has been disappointing but makes her handicap debut from a very lowly mark and won't need to improve much to take a hand. Blighty was in good form around this time a year ago but finished last in his two runs in the spring, though he didn't appreciate the fast going. Mishrif is a Southwell specialist with just one Turf victory from 24 starts while Hydrant completed a hat-trick on quick ground last summer and a string of poor runs sees him back on the same mark. The veteran VAINGLORY generally finishes with a flourish when the race is all over but he's extremely well handicapped these days and even a glimmer of his old form would see him beat these comfortably so he's handed the vote.
