Verdict

Further rain is forecast and that will suit SCRUTINY. He hasn't encountered soft ground since winning at Newbury last year and has tumbled down the weights. Brooke's Bounty has been placed in heavy going and is another to consider dropping into plating company. My Son Max has won on the Fibresand and could also go well but course and distance winners Zaitsev and Al Muheer would prefer a faster surface.
