Verdict
Speyside is selected in preference to Totoman and Turtle Dove. A move for Colorado Springs would also be noteworthy but he ran no sort of race last time out and there has to be the suspicion that he has his own ideas about the game. Turtle Dove also ran poorly when she was last seen in action, so also has a bit to prove. However, she had previously shown promise in a couple of fillies¿ only events at Kempton, so is no forlorn hope for a place at this level. Totoman showed improvement at Windsor eight days ago and is rated as a big threat. Drying ground will also help to bolster his claims. However, Speyside has already taken on stronger opponents than this and, with normal improvement; he is fancied to take this by the scruff of the neck.
