Dvinsky has been running consistently well on the Polytrack all winter, is relatively unexposed on turf and looks worth backing to make a winning return to the surface, getting the verdict ahead of Expensive Art and Lunces Lad. The last mentioned ran well enough on a softer surface at Goodwood last time and has to be considered but Mick Channon's gelding could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Cativo Cavallino has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for his good form last season, while Red Cape is hard to recommend on the evidence of his form this term. Expensive Art has been running well on the Polytrack and has to be respected on his return to turf but preference is for Dvinsky.
