Persian Fox has the form to win this at the expense of Petrosian and Daylami Dreams. The selection is the most experienced of the field with three runs under his belt. Each time he has improved and last time out he caught the eye when second to Sweet Lilly here over seven furlongs. This step up to a mile will definitely be in his favour and with conditions to suit he will be hard to beat. Petrosian was not beaten all that far even though he was finishing last of four on his debut at Beverley. Mark Johnstones horses are never fully wound up first time out so improvement is likely so any market moves should be noted. Daylami Dreams finished towards the rear of the field in what looked a competitive race at Ascot on his debut. This is a drop in grade and will prove an easier task but he may be fighting it out for place money only as for the winner we return to Persian Fox.
