    Verdict

DIG TWO failed to figure in the July Stakes after a fine second in the Windsor Castle but sets a high standard dropping back into novice company, despite being penalised for his two victories so far. City Runner has placed at Windsor and Salisbury and should make the frame again, though Patient Man is a likely improver and there are one or two newcomers who appeal on breeding. Irish Millions was a 60,000gns yearling and is a half-brother to three winners with Rizg and Thunder Valley other possibilities.
