Blue Knight has an obvious chance in a poor race and is preferred to Fort McHenry and Wares Home. The last mentioned deserves to win a race of this nature having been knocking on the door in similar grade of late. However, Karl Burke's gelding faces no easy task at the weights and preference is for Blue Knight. The Alan Jarvis-trained gelding was disappointing when favourite for a better race than this at Goodwood last week but holds solid claims on earlier form and, at the weights, is the one they all have to beat. Fort McHenry looks the main danger at the weights but has run below par on two starts this term and is difficult to recommend. Mick Channon's Night Wolf drops back in trip having had little joy over further this term, while both Lake Verdi and Pardon Moi make limited appeal on recent evidence. In a poor race Blue Knight is taken to supply Kieren Fallon with another winner.
