Mashaheer started favourite on his handicap debut here three weeks ago but took a long time to get to the front and was quickly swamped inside the final furlong. He is probably capable of better but has it all to do today only a pound lower. HOWMAN showed plenty of promise in his first two starts and made all for an easy victory at Lingfield last time. He doesn’t look particularly well handicapped but has plenty of scope and can double his tally. Jazeel is a consistent performer but edging up the weights again and Rapier needs to take a big step forward.
