Another trappy event and James Fanshaw, who had dual-winner Curfew in this at the five days, relies on the unexposed Cashmere. She comes from a yard in fine form at present and looks certain to run well, but on the book, she does have a little to find with some of these. Flying Fulmar finished behind Curfew at Newmarket, so the Fanshaw stable will know where they stand with the Michael Bell runner, while the maiden Storm Clear looks to have plenty on at this level. Impeller needs a strongly run race at this trip, something he is unlikely to get, while Ashgar Sayyad is difficult to weigh up. Mick Channon's colt would have a chance on his best form, but he lacks consistency. Clematis has taken her time to come to hand, but she appears to be blooming now and is open to any amount of improvement. She may be the main threat to Kelsey Rose, who faces her easiest task for a while. She has form over course and distance when runner-up to the useful Half Glance and a reproduction of that effort will be more than good enough in this.
