This is as bad as it gets with the weights headed by the 59 rated Red Fred, who is probably better on the All-Weather surface. Diamond Racket, who is well drawn, takes a drop in class and is respected with Dale Gibson aboard, while Dave Best would have a chance if he could reproduce his effort behind Mister Rushby at Catterick back in July. However, a chance is taken with Iamback, who takes a drop in class and will be wearing blinkers for the first time. Another plus is the booking of Darryll Holland for the filly and the combination can prove too strong for the disappointing Queen's Gift, who has failed to progress after showing promise on her first couple of runs.
