      Verdict

      Regal Parade is having his 99th start and going for his 14th victory though this will be his first ever run on this track. He hasn't won for two years but is 15lb lower and arrives in decent form in similar class events. VIMY RIDGE (NAP) last won just over a year ago from a 10lb higher mark but he's been competing at a higher level and has been unable to cope. Dropped back to this grade and now on his lowest-ever mark, he can return to winning ways. Captain Bob is another on a long losing run who has dropped in class but he looked to have a chance at Beverley last week only to blow the start. He looks the main threat as the three-year-old Shypen has a bit more to do than when landing a handicap here in June.
