        Verdict

        A wide open handicap rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Somerset West, Londoner, and Tuscan Flyer and the tentative vote goes to Londoner. The selection has dropped to a handy mark and he ran as if he was about ready to win when second behind A Women In Love. He again has conditions to suit and he is taken to score. Somerset West rates the main danger he has won his last two races in good style defeating He Who Dares in good style last time out. He will not be far away despite top weight. Tuscan Flyer is another worthy of respect on his best form but his best efforts have come over a shorter trip and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Bint Royal could have the race run to suit and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to the well handicapped Londoner.
