The consistent Kernel Dowry looks the call here ahead of Fantasy Crusader and the admirable Burgundy. Trained by Peter Harris, Kernel Dowry is no world beater but is a game performer who now looks well-weighted here to finally shake off his maiden tag. An excellent effort last time out at Brighton when just beaten by Our Destiny looks the pick of the form and a reproduction of that effort should see him go very close with Darryll Holland looking a positive jockey booking. Fantasy Crusader has been placed in both his last two appearances including behind the selection last time out. He needs to improve on that effort to score but still rates a danger with Jimmy Quinn booked to ride. Burgundy never puts in less than 100 per cent and he can be relied upon to give you a good run for your money however he still needs to find a bit with the choice here who is Kernel Dowry.
