    Verdict

JUMP UP just about sets the standard and can land the last ahead of Grey Gold and Robello, although support for Misstaysia shouldn't go unnoticed. Our selection ran well on his bumper debut at Towcester before again placing at Stratford under this rider and while neither effort suggests he's much more than average, this is no more than an average affair and he can put his experience to good use by edging out Grey Gold. Richard Lee's charge went well for a long way on debut before finishing just out of the places, but with the fifth well back it was a performance that showed he's got ability. Robert Thornton has a good record when riding bumper horses for the yard and he won't need to improve much to land this. Robello finished a long way beaten on debut but the winner of that Market Rasen contest is above-average for the time of year and he emerged with credit. Again the horse need only improve to go close to landing this but Robert Thornton has jumped ship and that may prove a clue. Misstaysia is an interesting newcomer but isn't particularly well bred, although the yard have a profitable record here in bumpers of late (one winner from two runners past five seasons). Market watching is essential here but Jump Up jumps off the page.
