An interesting race to open up this meeting and one which can go the way of SPECIAL QUALITY with Exceed Power and Boogie Waltzer likely to pose the main dangers. The selection ran very well but didn't quite have enough near the finish last time out on the turf at Sandown. Back on the all-weather and this could be a great opportunity to get back to winning ways. The pick won at Southwell last month on the standard surface and likely to come on for his last run he may have too much for the opposition. Also worth noting is Boogie Waltzer who lost out on a hat-trick attempt last time out when finishing third of nine at Goodwood. Ryan Moore takes the ride today and this three-year-old filly poses a big danger to our selection. Exceed Power showed a much improved effort last time out at Chepstow when finishing as runner-up. She has won all the all-weather before and if showing her best ability could be a contender. Our preference is to side with Special Quality to get the win.
