Frameit did well to win when last seen at Lingfield on the all-weather but it might be between CAPTAIN COOL and Captain John Nixon to battle it out for the major honours. Captain Cool is rated officially lower than his last winning mark and can take advantage of the favourable weighting in this handicap. In contrast, Captain John Nixon is looking for a fourth win in a row and suffers from a penalty. It may be a tall order for him to win here. Frameit managed to beat Sassanian and eight others when winning at Lingfield last time out. Best of Broadway showed a much improved performance at Southwell when getting in the places earlier this month but this competition is more testing. Apache Kid was just half a length behind the winner at Yarmouth and could be there or thereabouts come the finish in this contest. We prefer the attentions of Captain Cool though to get the win.
