Seaquel and ROZNIC could dominate this seller and our preference is for the latter; Mid Wicket, High Skies and Tora Petcha may fight it out for minor honours. Even at the grand old age of 12 our pick is a real threat in this company, as he showed when winning over 2m5f at Hereford last time. Dropping back to two miles isn't an ideal move on paper but he has won at this distance over fences and a positive ride could negate those concerns, whilst the current wellbeing of the yard adds confidence. At the weights there's nothing between our pick and Seaquel, who at four-years-old could have the scope for further progress. She's been in good form of late under both codes, including when winning a competitive enough handicap at Bangor two starts ago. Fast ground and two miles seems just her ticket and the youngster is only narrowly opposed. Mid Wicket has claims on his Plumpton second three starts back but disappointed on the level last time, Tora Petcha has plenty of weight to carry but is in good form and will enjoy conditions and High Skies needs a market check in headgear with a top young jockey booked. Rapide Plaisir and the consistent Three Ships are others to consider but Roznic can win once more.
