Verdict
A moderate maiden in which Adroit Approach should have the measure of Champagne Cocktail and Mambo Des Mottes. Adroit Approach shaped with a modicum of promise in a couple of maiden hurdles since joining Alex Hales and with a lack of strength in depth, he looks to have been found an opportunity to post a maiden success. Champagne Cocktail takes a drop in grade having ran at Cheltenham in a hot novice. In fairness to him, he was far from disgraced on the day. Mambo Des Mottes is better known as a chaser. He is rated in three figures in that discipline although he is 0 from 2 over hurdles thus far. Work Boy is related to plenty of hunters. 82-rated Hallys Goal shouldn¿t be good enough to win this and will be the benchmark for the assessor. Catch The Wing has shown nothing in two bumpers thus far. A poor maiden given the fair prize money and Adroit Approach is put up as our selection.
