In depth

Verdict

God's County is best treated with caution having been pulled up on his first start for Sophie Leech. Stablemate Keenes Day was due to run yesterday at Sedgefield but Wayward Glance should go well having sandwiched a win at Uttoxeter in between placed efforts at Newton Abbot and Stratford. LATEST TREND won over 2m here last month and wasn't beaten far under a penalty at Southwell subsequently. He stayed 3m between the flags so should have no problem with the extra half-mile here and is probably the one to beat. Berea Court has hinted at ability in bumpers but may need the experience today.
