In depth

Verdict

Roby De Cimbre might just be too classy here and he gets the nod ahead of his uninspiring rivals. None of these can truly be ignored but Roby De Cimbre looks fairly progressive and his owner will be keen for some more success this season after a couple of tough years. The horse was second at the track last time to the decent yardstick of Lord Jay Jay and on ground that suits he can win again. Eye Candy is a fair horse and is better than his recent run at Market Rasen over hurdles; this Irish raider should not be underestimated despite top-weight. O'Toole knows how to win under both codes and has claims, although he has plenty to find with the selection on their pervious clash here at the track. Orfeo Conti is consistent if somewhat unspectacular however he may need further, whilst Caliban completes the field but looks to be making up the number from 7lbs out of the weights. A fair race, with Roby De Cimbre given the nod.
