HORSEFORD HILL can take this race with Openide and Mith Hill on the shortlist. One of the casualties of the Nicky Henderson ban, Horseford Hill has now joined Julia Tooth. While comparisons between the two trainers are fruitless, it could be worth chancing that the bookmakers forget about one or two of the smart runs that had obtained prior to a dismal effort at Newton Abbot. Openide ran on stoutly to post victory on his most recent start. The apple of his trainer's eye, he should run another solid race here. Mith Hill bounced back to form with a win at Perth. The visor that accompanied that run has been replaced by the cheekpieces that he normally wears. Go Amwell has been busy on the all-weather though does stay three miles. Aberdeen Park isn't the most foot perfect of individuals though that hasn't stopped her having a solid chance of a three timer. Oniz Tiptoes was predictably outclassed in the Summer Plate but is conceivably well placed to prosper off his current hurdling mark. Pips Assertive Way knows how to win around here although the mare's most recent effort was in plating company. Two Miles West hasn't won as many races as he should and the blinkers are reached for in an effort to extract some of his latent ability. Horseford Hill gets the nod.
