Some interesting sorts here such as Loch Garman, who looked a hurdler of some promise when an excellent second of 14 to Mister Grez on his Chepstow debut but was then a major disappointment when finishing out the back when a well-supported favourite at Newton Abbot next time. We should learn more now. Rushvale, a bumper winner in Ireland, was tailed off when pitched straight in Grade 2 company at Aintree on his first run for his new yard and should greatly appreciate the drop in class. He's not discounted, nor is Gioia De Vita who has definite claims on his Catterick second two outings back before being another to disappoint last time when well fancied. The choice therefore is the ex-Gosden trained PROOFREADER, still very lightly-raced for one of his age and who travelled well on debut before being outpointed by the more experienced Buy Back Bob. He should improve plenty for the run and the fitting of a first-time hood will hopefully aid his cause too.
