Some strength in depth for this claiming hurdle, in which Barneys Honour arrives on a hat-trick mission but this rates a far harder assignment than this month's pair of selling hurdle victories. Stow is a solid sort in this grade and Macarthur, amazingly the 2008 Hardwicke Stakes winner at Royal Ascot, is also of interest at this level. However, the top pair do set a good standard for this type of contest. Man Of Leisure went close in a Class 3 Market Rasen handicap hurdle last time over trip and ground and must get involved on that evidence but TANERKO EMERY is hard to oppose. A dual winner in April and far from disgraced when finishing in mid-division in a Class 2 Aintree hurdle latest, he has plenty in hand on official ratings and looks very much the one to beat.
