This looks like a competitive maiden hurdle for this time of the year and the vote goes to SCENE TWO ahead of Phoenix Flight and Carbon Print. The selection was a winner twice for Luca Cumani on the level and performed with great credit on her debut for Phillip Hobbs after finishing second at Towcester. She is sure to improve for the experience and this less undulating track is another factor that is sure to be in her favour. Phoenix Flight has performed well in handicaps on the level this summer and won off a mark of 81 at Kempton in June. He fell on his hurdles debut at Stratford in the spring but caught the eye after finishing second at Aintree last time out. He is another that will improve for the experience and with the champ on board he is sure to have plenty of supporters. Carbon Print was only moderate on the level but showed promise after finishing second at Stratford last time out. He is another to note and should be monitored in the betting market. Scene Two has the advantage of a mares allowance and with a clear round of jumping she is certain of a big run in the finale.
