Hat-trick seeking AMERICAN WORLD is given the vote to succeed once again at the expense of De Soto and Barnhill Brownie. The selection has been well placed by his trainer Brendon Powell having won a chase at Huntingdon and a novice hurdle over course and distance. He runs off the same mark as he did when winning over the larger obstacles and with a clear round of jumping he is sure to go close. De Soto is five pounds well in compared to his chase mark so connections are taking that advantage. He has been running well in deafest of late and with five pounds in hand it gives him the best chance of getting his head in front so deserves respect. Barnhill Brownie has been winless for some time now and is quickly becoming a frustrating horse to follow. However he continues to run well in defeat and more place prize money beckons. American World has plenty going for him and is difficult to oppose.
