In depth

Verdict

INTREPIDE SUD was only beaten three parts of a length here this month in a similar contest and it's hard to look beyond the O'Brien gelding on that evidence. Robbers Bridge is a possible though after staying on steadily in the closing stages when fourth at Southwell after being sent off at very long odds. Lost In The Mist brings acceptable form to the table too and is respected, but was still beaten 19l here when third of nine. However, that was a fair performance as he'd been absent for over a year and should benefit for the run. Elsieanne could also progress from her fourth-placed debut and the one needing a market check is the Mulholland newcomer, Hobbs Joy.
