With Paul Roche's Island Oscar a doubtful runner this looks likely to go to LAMBORO LAD, who gets the vote over Princess Laila. The daughter of Kris Kin ran much better at Ffos Las last time than she had done on her debut on a soft surface at Newbury and, with Ian Williams having his team in good form, she has to be respected. Paul Flynn's Udeman was beaten some way out on his debut at Gowran Park and looks best watched and of more danger may be one of the two newcomers Secure My Position and Island Jim. The last mentioned is trained by Charlie Longsdon who is more than capable of getting one ready first time out and the son of Heron Island has to be respected as does Oliver Sherwood's Great Palm gelding Secure My Position. Lamboro Lad is the clear form pick of the field though following a decent close up fourth at Aintree on his debut with a fair second to Shadow Dancer at Uttoxeter in his two starts so far and he can go one better today.
