Nothing jumps off the card here as a solid selection, but marginal preference is for DOVEDALE ahead of Mylo and Bubbs. Dovedale has a few pounds in hand on the top weights Mylo and Snake Hips, and has proved she gets the trip with a decent second in a stamina sapping three miles three race last time out. Placed in nearly half her runs over hurdles, she's now back to her last winning mark, albeit that was last year. Mylo's won off a higher mark than this, and has been disappointing of late, but the ability is there, and this contest may not take too much winning. Bubbs wins one race a year, and has already done that this summer, and it was last time out when successful at Newton Abbot. She stays all day, but is far too inconsistent to carry our support. With small stakes only, we'll side with Dovedale.
