In depth

Verdict

Days Of Heaven's future lies over fences and he has his first run since May, though is unlikely to fail through lack of fitness. Dovils Date has returned to form with a vengeance and is on a hat-trick after facile victories at Southwell and Kelso. But he's rocketing up the ratings and this is more of a test. The penny has dropped with MISS CRICK and though she only won narrowly on her handicap debut at Newton Abbot, it would be no surprise if she improved again here. Dragon's Den look held by Dovils Date and Apple Of Our Eye and Masterofdeception have absences to overcome. Bohemian Rhapsody hasn't pulled up any trees on the Flat since successful at Chepstow in May.
