Fillydelphia was narrowly beaten in an amateurs’ race at Ripon last time but won under today’s apprentice at Catterick earlier. Midnight Warrior has been thereabouts over longer trips recently while Hope Is High steps up in distance having won over 1m2f at Bath last month. JAN DE HEEM (NAP) hasn’t won anywhere so far this year but has a decent strike rate overall, including a couple of wins on the old Turf course here last year. He has every chance on last month’s second at Beverley so gets the vote racing off a similar mark today.
