In depth

Verdict

THE RESDEV WAY is worth sticking with in this having returned a cosy two-length winner over track and trip last time. He’s upped 6lb but Richard Whitaker’s charge is fancied to confirm running with both the runner-up Kicking The Can and Solid Justice in a middling handicap. Stags Leap was second on the Turf here last year and has had a recent outing over hurdles but it’s difficult to make a decent case for any of the remainder unless the lightly-raced Table Manners improves for the longer trip.
