Honours have been shared between three and four-year-olds in recent renewals of this fillies and mare' Listed race but only four of the 17 runners this year represent the older generation with Lucy The Painter the pick. Ashadihan is a Group 3 winner so carries a 3lb penalty but she has every chance if her fifth in the Falmouth Stakes on the July course here is taken at face value. But she had no excuses when finishing just behind PROMISING RUN in the Coronation Stakes and the Godolphin filly, winner of the Group 2 Rockfel at this meeting last year and back to winning ways in Turkey at the start of the month, can come out on top again and land this. Miss Carbonia could go well as she improved again at Ascot, though has only run in small fields so far.
