Royal Skies is the one to beat on the formbook and does travel well through a race but he's found nothing when let down the last twice and remains a risky proposition. In contrast, AT FIRST LIGHT has showed a toughness and resilience to land two of his last three starts here and a 7lb penalty takes him ever closer to the topweight. Royal Skies has the class but if this comes down to a battle then it may be the guts and courage of the Weston inmate that will prevail. Prince Khurram and Newton Geronimo are of interest in handicaps as both should continue to improve although neither seems especially well treated here. Ladies Dancing and Yes Daddy are not ruled out either in an intriguing little handicap.
