Having hacked up in his last two starts in this sphere Don McCain's ALWAYS BOLD is the one they all have to aim at in this Novice Hurdle although Quedillac should makes things a little tougher this time and Come West looks best of the rest. Already rated at a very useful 130 the selection has been kept sharp with a few solid looking efforts on the level including placing at Ascot last time out. Last time we saw this one in this company he won by eight lengths over this trip so despite a penalty he should land add this race to his expanding CV. Quedillac's run on his hurdles debut last time was not only encouraging but would have him possibly mounting a challenge to win this especially as he is open to plenty of improvement. Come West should be better than the last two starts suggest so if finding some form should feature while Tuesday's Gone needs to find a lot more on his second start over hurdles to be in the picture. A small field line up for this race and it looks a good opportunity for Always Bold to win again.
