Martin Pipe will hold the key to this selling contest with Gebora and Minibule in the race with the vote going to the last named. Timmy Murphy has been booked and was on board when winning a similar contest at Newton Abbot last week. He has only run four times and although clearly has limited ability he has yet to run a bad race so is taken to score again. Gebora on the other hand is on the downward slop. He was and is rated far higher to any of his rivals and was at one stage thought good enough to run in Class B events. That time has come and gone and he was beaten at a very short price in a similar race last time out so should be treated with caution. Naked Oat should also enter calculations on his win in novice company at Market Rasen two months ago. His last two performances were not good ones but this drop in grade should see him in the first three. But for the winner we return to Minibule.
