LUCKY LOVER BOY was really progressive through the summer months last season and has his conditions for this return to action after 181 days off. He'll need to be pretty straight to fend off some useful rivals but remains acceptably treated and could well come on again this term. Course and distance winner Trolley Boy won with more in hand than the winning margin suggests at Ludlow last month and the runner-up that day boosted the form with a facile success over the weekend. He looks dangerous with Joe Anderson's 5lb claim a significant bonus. Most of the others can have a decent case made for their chance, with Bucko's Boy and Dasher Riley making most appeal from a form perspective, although the latter does have a 273-day absence to overcome.
