Verdict

A chance is taken on Welsh Border who is improving with each run he has won his last two races easily and although he is creeping up the weights he looks ahead of the handicapper. Tensile was disappointing last time over fences he will appreciate the return to hurdles but he may be in the handicappers grip in this sphere. Cill Churnain is another to consider he is in good form won well at Southwell last time he will go on the ground and he is a danger to all with the stable still in good form. Vert Espere was behind Cill Churnain last time and although he is better off at the weights the winner won with plenty in hand. Boring Goring looks out of his depth.
