Just the 17 to choose from for the finale but this may not be a difficult a race to solve as the numbers suggest. Charlie Mann saddles an interesting recruit from the flat in the shape of the 64-rated Dardanus. Sure to have been well schooled the four-year-old would not need to be out of the ordinary to win on his hurdling debut. Of those to have raced Donnini has some respectable form to his name and the booking of Mick Fitzgerald takes the eye, while It's Just Sally who had decent form in bumper company is another interesting recruit to the hurdles. Kim Bailey's My Very Own did little wrong at Newton Abbot last time and if there is more to come would not be far away here. Jim Old's Persian King has been disappointing in the main but may appreciate the return to novice company after a couple of outings in handicaps.
